This is the month of Easter 2008 and this year it comes around on the second earliest possible date, the 21st of March, so we are anticipating a lot of activity.
The year has already started off in a very positive way,regardless of the totally unconnected, but nevertheless for some reason constantly mentioned, world banking crisis. Historically our immediate area of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo has withstood anything and everything that is thrown at it and continually confounds the "experts" by not only maintaining the price level but showing an upward trend. The high risk/bad debt mortgage market simply does not have a connection to this market place and consequently doesn't have an impact.
My view is if a few banks make bad decisions that impact negatively on their balance sheet, tough, they've earned enough in the past, it certainly didn't stop them paying out bonuses to their employees.
Prices have remained constant since last year and already the signs are that 2008 will be another great year for sales of real estate in the Golden Triangle.
