I will resist the temptation to come up with some weird and wonderful April Fool joke, and just get on with the job of writing the April edition of our monthly newsletter. April is probably the most satisfying month of all, as it officially welcomes the summer. I have to say that this time, the weather confirmed it's arrival by being appropriately warm and sunny, turning the clocks forward also adds to the feel good factor, by providing lighter evenings, always guaranteed to give even more the impression of summer. To pretend that we are rushed off our feet would be an exaggeration, the early part of the year is seldom very active and we are feeling that maybe there's been a small reaction to the worldwide credit crunch and the Euro Sterling exchange rate, nevertheless, we have been encouraged by the steady flow of property enquiries, particularly at the top end of the market. Only last week a Quinta do Lago property sale was agreed to the value of £4,700,000.

This months activities are particularly interesting and include, Backstreet Boys on the 25th of April at the Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, and Jean Michael Jarre on the 25th and 27th of April at the Coliseu do Porto.
